When FDM is running in system tray or just minimized and I use a console command like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Free Manager\fdm.exe" "http://.something.org/file.exe"
everything is OK, but the same command used when fdm.exe is not running starts FDM, then creates strange "double lined" of the same file.

I just installed the latest official Firefox 9 beta 2 today and the FDM plugin still works using official Add-on Compatibility Reporter ;-P
So:
1. You should send complaints to Nightly Tester Tools developers.
2. You should read other topics on Firefox compatibility before posting.

What I did to get the FF 9 compatibility was to edit the install.rdf file in C:\Program Files\Free Manager\Firefox\extension to have the max version of 11 instead of 8 and now FF 9 works fine.
