No " It" button for Flash Video 5e2a1t
I have checked "Show ' It' button" option in the setting dialog, but there is no button displayed when I try to play flash video on Youtube.
OS: Windows XP (32-bit) SP3
Browser: Firefox 14.0.1
FDM: 3.9.1 BETA build 1264
This function works fine before. Could be the problem of new Firefox or FDM version? What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks for your help.

That never worked for me but aside that it might just be YouTube as they recently changed their software to reject ers from ing videos - at least that's what they've done with all the online ers. So maybe that's why your button doesn't work anymore.
(Sorry, but honestly, I don't mind it's like that: As being a content producer myself I wouldn't want my content being ed by just anybody - I have copyrights on it. If I myself would want to my own videos, then there's a function for that in the video manager on YouTube to do so.
Besides that: ing videos is against YouTubes Of Service - for a good reason: They all are copyrighted and ing the vidoes was piracy!)

Both. You should check Firefox and FDM settings after every update/upgrade.BloodLust wrote:This function works fine before. Could be the problem of new Firefox or FDM version?
Now you can do as follows:
1. Close Firefox.
2. In FDM - go tu menu Options | Settings and
- in "Flash video" section turn off " it" button and Flash video monitoring for Firefox;
- in "Monitoring" section turn off monitoring for Firefox;
- click OK.
3. Run Firefox, check that FDM plugin is NOT present on FDM extension list. If FDM plugin is still present, remove it. Close Firefox again.
4. In FDM again - turn on the options you have turned off in p.2.
5. Run Firefox again. Now it should open a new tab and ask there if you want to use FDM plugin. DO NOT IGNORE this tab. Find it, tick checkmark, confirm, accept, restart Firefox, do whatever is needed.
If you can't see such a tab, it means you have probably installed some extension that overrides standard Firefox behaviour (f.e Add-on Compatibility Reporter) or conflicts with FDM plugin. Check all extension list - maybe you can determine and turn off the problematic extension, maybe FDM plugin is located at the bottom among turned off extensions and you can turn it on.

Dear Usher,
Thanks a lot! It works for flash video on most web site except Youtube. I think it should be the problem of Youtube.
