How to mp3 from Youtube with fdm?

It would be good if fdm also gives the option to subtitles if the Youtube video has subtitles.

Log shows:
Media merge task has started
Media merge task failed

Is there a more detailed log somewhere in the product that I could include?

Version is the latest beta 1511.
Sorry cant post log as I tried it under Shadow Defender.

Could the prob be due to shadow defender or stable fdm as I did over install of beta under Shadow defender?

Is not working properly "check update now". In the update shows the message "Invalid URL". Should refer to the latest beta.

Search mirrors is unnecessary in my opinion. When ing new files legal public, fails to find mirrors. Redundant and unnecessarily clutters function of the program.

We kindly ask all the s who helped us translate FDM from English to their native languages - to convert the language files they worked on to Unicode version. To do this, please open your language file in Windows Notepad and navigate to File - Save As ... . Then choose the Unicode format. Once saved - please send it to us the usual way. You can try notepad++ and just change the character coding without switch for a new OS.

And, FDM Light 3.9.4.1982 with BT plugin can't handle magnet links properly.Sometime the magnet links will stuck with no information but minus numbers% in ed cell.You can delete the then create a new one till it succeed.

Last, feature request.I wonder if FDM can save s settings for individual sites? This is because some sites only 1 session, and some sites FDM doesn't handle referer properly.It'll be nice if I can just setting once for these sites in individual settings rather than change the current settings every time I try to from one of them

Yes, please:

1. Create a new environmental variable (instructions to create: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8):

Variable name: FFREPORT
Variable value: file=d\:/logs/ffmpeg_log.txt

- suppose you want to write ffmpeg log to 'd:\logs' folder. You can choose any folder, any filename.
Do not miss 'file=' at the beginning, and a backslash after a drive letter d\:



2. Create this folder if it does not exist (in my example, d:\logs)

3. Restart FDM and reproduce the problem "Media merge task failed". The log file will be created.

4. Post it here or mail to @freemanager.cinevost.com if it's too long.

I will find some *.torrent files that are currently seeded and send them to you by private mail.

Torrents sent. It seems there were mostly problems with magnet links and FDM builds up to 1472.

For me, savefrom.net always gives a link to 1080p video without audio, and 720p video with audio. FDM provides the same formats (and s streams if necessary).

SFN helper shows more clear info about available s. You can see at a first sight what files are without audio stream there. I'd like to see in FDM something like shown on picture below:



Notes:
1. Files without audio streams are displayed in blue color so s can see which ones they are without changing selection.
2. There is warning added below so s may learn about and merging issues before clicking.
3. There are fields for group and folder selection reused from the standard "Add " dialog window. I think that all "Add " dialog windows should look like the standard one, there is no good explanation to omit any existing features.

As I can see, FDM currently lacks FLV and 3D video, this will be fixed soon. If you find more differences, please let us know.

What I meant was, in the current alpha 5, when you try to torrent, fdm shows list of files to select to & then you can start to .

FDM 5 is in alpha state and still buggy. When you see selection list, FDM 5 may already files into the program folder in %ProgramFiles% which is strongly discouraged by Microsoft security guidance. The same may be for regular s when you try to select folder or for settings conversion when running FDM for the first time (current 3.9.5 beta also creates Data subfolder in the program folder).
I haven't tested the latest FDM 5 build - if these issues are already fixed and you can choose to never show the file selection window, then it would be a good improvement.
