Could you please give me URL? (you can do it via Private Message).

this happen with every video run directly within Facebook page (even it's ed to another site like youtube, however i noticed some issues
1- when i uncheck firefox monitor from flash video options every thing goes well
2- when i run the video from youtube directly (firefox monitor checked), every thing also goes well
3- can't see FDM popup menu over a video run from facebook pages
so it seams the problem manly with Facebook or my be with the flash player
)

my configuration :
winxp sp3+ firefox 3.6.17+fdm 3.7 rc (last) + flash player10.3

You should always report your OS and browser version.

This is how bittorrent works.
Files in a torrent are divided into equal parts (pieces, not aligned to the file size) and is unfinished until you all parts containing selected files. If you select only one file, you must at least:
- ending part of a file before the selected one,
- the selected file,
- starting part of a file after the selected one.
Libtorrent used in FDM can create sparse files, so on NTFS partition ed files take only as much place as their ed parts. Right click file name in Explorer window, open file properties and check it by yourself - observe different size and disk size.

Hello,

first of all, I've been using FDM for over 2 years now (just http/ftp s, nothing else), ending with it through various iterations of "getright" managers I've tried/used in the past, but then "I've seen the light" ;)

It is simply the best manager ever. Period.

I have never had a problem with it up until recently - I switched from rapidshare.com to filesonic.com as my preferred file host, and I am unable to _anything_ from filesonic.com, not from my folder but any filesonic link in generall.
I'll supply name/ as in the case of rapidshare to be , - but to no avail. FDM will small cca 30kB file.

I guess I had FDM 3.0 installed, didn't work so I've changed (after looong while, I didn't really need to change as everything was perfect) to 3.5 if it works - no it didn't - now to 3.7 and no success.

Anybody is ing from filesonic with FDM? Any tricks?
Note that Firefox4/5 is able to files (once logged in as ) without any problem.

Thanks for any response, I couldn't find any "direct option" settings in filesonic control , like rapidshare had.

I have exactly the same problem with filesonic.

I had a with Sharingmatrix, and FDM was working just fine. When Sharingmatrix was acquired by filesonic I could still with FDM. But then suddenly one day things stopped working and I simply could not use FDM with filesonic anymore.

I thought maybe a new version of FDM would fix the problem, but apparently it does not. If the issue with filesonic is not solved in the new FDM release, I will (unfortunately) have to switch to another manager.

I've just found a bug in FDM 3.7RC. For absolutelty no reason at all, FDM started ing no faster than 500KB/s (I'm on a 40Mbps connection, 5MB/s). Tried DownthemAll and it ed at the correct speed.
I had to go into FDM options an select "ingnore all restrictions" on s-->new-->advanced.
The problem is I did not set any limits!!! FDM decided by itself that it should limit my speed.

Something weird is going on here...
