Well ... it doesn't catch the clicks in Firefox. The FDM window for a new doesn't appear. Only the Firefox's window appears. The " by FDM" context menu option also doesn't work on a link.

Please uninstall FDM.
Restart Firefox.
Install FDM.
Restart Firefox.

i am currently using IDM and gave a try to FDM. i liked FDM more than IDM but speed is important for me. regret to say that IDM ed faster than FDMa file form same server same condition.

i wish to substitute my IDM to FDM when FDM reaches IDM's speed.

The problem is that nobody sent us instructions how to reproduce it.

I have following problem. Last time my PC works very unstable. I think it's because of some sort of hardware problem - it's randomly reboots without any confirmations or error messages.
Very annoying that every time after unconditional reboot FDM forgets all of it's settings and revert them to defaults. It forgets default folder, language set, settings - everything. And no matter where settings are stored - in registry or in DATA folder.
I considering this behavior dissatisfied and asking to make settings preserving more reliable.

Yes, some settings FDM saves at the shutdown only.
You may set it up as you wish, then shutdown it.
It will never lose the settings then (i hope).

IDM speed meter is fake. It shows a higher speed than reality.
Use an independent traffic meter and you'll notice the difference.
