History of ed files 1c4f2y

I've been using FDM5.1 for the past several years.

It has a very nifty feature where it sort of re what files I've ed previously. Which is a good thing, because my memory isn't perfect. If I try to downlaod once again a file that I've already ed several months / years ago, I guess FDM recognizes the server url + file name + file size (and maybe other file features), and in that case it suggests that I save the file in the same folder path where I saved that same file the previous time I ed it (instead of offering to save it in the default folder).

I like this feature. To me it is useful because it alerts me that I'm trying to again a file that I have already, so it saves me time and disk space.

The PC where I had FDM5.1 installed died recently.
Failure to the electrical system, fried the motherboard and HDD beyond repair.
I was lucky enough to make a backup of the HDD several hours before this happenned though.

I'll be getting a new PC soon. And I will make a fresh install of FDM.

1. If I install FDM5.1 on the new PC, is there any way to import these ed files history records from the backup of the old PC and integrate them into the new install?

2. If I install FDM6.2 on the new PC, is there any way to import these ed files history records from the backup of the old PC and integrate them into the new install?

Thanks.

I doubt that will work as the new OS will having different file manager system so they will not work correctly. It has to match exactly as previous for this to work and since the computer and OS will be new it's not up to FDM if this work or not.
